Spot Pet Insurance

This was my first experience with pet insurance. My puppy (Bernese Mountain Dog) went through an “eating everything except food” phase, so he had a couple of trips to the vet for blockage. I had my paperwork, but kept putting off filing with Spot Pet Insurance because I just dreaded the process. (Not filed correctly, send more information, not covered, etc.) Well, it turns out that anxiety was all for nothing! The filing process could not have been easier. When additional documentation was needed, they contacted the vet directly instead of asking me to do it. And then… shockingly… they approved and paid my claim in less than 7 days!!! They direct deposited right into my account!!! I have never had such a great experience with a company before. Not just insurance companies (let’s face it, they have terrible reputations and deservedly so), but any company. They have excellent coverage at an excellent price. They run the claims process simply, and professionally. If you are even thinking about covering your pet, please give Spot Pet Insurance your best consideration. I couldn’t be happier and you’ll feel the same way too.

I really like this company a lot. They are very reasonably priced, their coverage is extensive and they process claims very quickly. If you need to speak to someone, and I have, every time I call I speak with a person who is personable, knowledgable and willing to help. I cannot say more other than we have just gotten a puppy and when he turns 8 weeks old I am going to add him to the policy. Really wonderful pet insurance company!

Spot Pet Insurance has been great! They reimburse my claims quickly and have covered all of the expenses we have submitted. I am really glad that I have pet insurance for my German Shepherd dog. It has truly come in handy and gives me complete peace of mind when I take my dog to the vet for any health issues that arise! I will never be without pet insurance again.

I regret to share my extremely disappointing experience with Spot Pet Insurance. Despite initial positive reviews, my interaction with them has been marked by lacking and poor communication, coupled with significant delays in reimbursement. My pet needed care, and after submitting a claim, Spot Pet Insurance requested an extensive two-year medical history instead of the originally specified six months. Despite promptly providing the requested information, the claim was denied without a clear explanation, only an attached PDF of the policy. Attempts to clarify the issue with customer service were met with contradictory information, leading to further frustration and delays. Despite their promises of a timely reply, the communication breakdown persisted, leaving me in the dark about my claim status. In light of this experience, I strongly advise potential customers to approach Spot Pet Insurance with caution. Consider exploring multiple providers, thoroughly reviewing their policies, and being prepared for potential delays and unfulfilled promises. Ultimately, my conclusion is that directing monthly payments towards a personal insurance fund may offer a more reliable alternative. Please heed this warning to avoid potential financial responsibilities despite months or even years of payments to Spot Pet Insurance. -Kasey N

I've had spot insurance for the past year now and I am so glad that I listened to my mom and purchased their insurance. A few months after purchasing, my dog started having allergy issues and the insurance was very helpful with assisting with costs via reimbursements once I met my deductible. The process for reimbursement is online and very easy which provides me with a stress free process. I am grateful for spot insurance as it has made the process of caring for my dog much easier.

I lost my sweet girl Ginny at the age of two due to a rare but aggressive blood cancer. I am so happy with my decision to buy Spot Pet Insurance after rescusing our pup Ziggy at 7 months old. I wasn't expecting to have to use the service so soon but after some major ligament and joint issues were uncovered, I'm so glad I had Spot. It is simple to sign up and buy. The user interface is incredibly easy. Any time I've needed a human for support, everyone has been so friendly. The reimbursement process is simple and fast. I'm beyond happy with Spot!
